Hunter Valley buses run a regular service directly to Avondale School during the week on a variety of routes from a variety of areas in the local area.
Parking
We acknowledge that the traffic flow during morning drop-off can get quite congested and our desire is to keep the car park area safe. To allow more cars and help traffic flow around the Primary School kiss-and-drop zone in the morning, we have extended the zone through the car parks under the treed area of the primary car park. When dropping children off, we ask that parents avoid getting out of your cars if possible, to keep the traffic flowing. For afternoon pick-up, we encourage you to use the carline service beside the Multi-Purpose Centre. This allows parents to stay in cars and drive through to pick-up. Parents are also welcome to park and walk onto campus to meet their child. Please note that the kiss-and-drop zone is a NO PARKING zone and is for emergencies only. For safety reasons students are not permitted to walk through the car park areas unaccompanied to meet parents.
