Avondale Schoolies are given the opportunity of a fun and life-changing alternative to traditional schoolies activities. Participating in a service trip like no other, Avondale Schoolies team up with "RestoreOne" to work in Cambodian orphanages and build houses in remote villages, all while experiencing Cambodian history, culture, foods and people.
In an adventure just a little beyond the ordinary the Cambodia Schoolies experience not only makes a difference in the lives of those it helps, but also in the lives of its participants, cementing relationships, impact and memories.
"Avondale School’s Year 12 class partners with Restore One in a service trip at the end of each year at their major project in Cambodia. This is a village project where restoration of the village happens through housing, clean water, micro-businesses and an agriculture project. We know that with education there is choices and freedom." - Tanya Lawrence, Restore One Director
