This term in Year 9 Food Technology the class has been busy learning about the multicultural influences which have impacted Australian cuisines. Students have attended a food tour to taste and experience some of the multicultural impacts to Australian cuisine and now they have researched and taken themselves and their classmates on a food adventure. Their assignment this term involved them researching a country and the various cuisines from that country; producing a Food Adventure Brochure and making their food product to advertise their adventure. Mrs Nevell and Mr Alt are extremely impressed with the cuisines they tasted, the presentation level of the meals as well as the thoughtful design and implementation of traditional flavours. Students and parents can be proud of their great success and wonderful meal produced, displaying outstanding culinary skills.
