On Wednesday morning, the much-anticipated Year 5 Laser Cup Challenge took place. After a rainy start to the day, the skies cleared just in time for the races to begin. The students, guided by Mrs Rijavec, had worked hard to design and create their laser-cut cars, following the engineering design process from start to finish. They demonstrated creativity and problem-solving throughout the project.The competition was intense, with some races so close they were nearly too hard to call. The students cheered each other on, showing great sportsmanship and enthusiasm. The Laser Cup Challenge was a fantastic way to combine learning with fun, and it was wonderful to see the students’ hard work come to life on the racetrack. Congratulations to all participants for their incredible efforts!
