On Thursday last week, Year 4 students embarked on an exciting educational excursion to the Australian Museum in Sydney. The day began with two engaging teacher-led lessons: first, they explored the vibrant new Pasifika-Wansolmoana gallery, delving into the rich and diverse cultures of Australia's Pacific neighbours, which complements their current geography unit. Next, they visited the Burra-Connecting to Country gallery to learn about Australia’s landscapes, connections to land and engaged in traditional weaving. The day concluded with a self-guided exploration of various museum galleries which included highlights like Planet World, the Dinosaur gallery, the Minerals gallery, 200 Treasures and Australian Birds. It was an enriching and exciting experience for all!
