Year 3 explored the cultural lifestyle of our Indigenous people at the Awabakal Education Centre in Dudley last week. Students enjoyed participating in different activities, including trying to start a fire by rubbing sticks together, building a miniature gunya and making a paper coolamon. They also explored the bush area and learnt about caring for the natural environment. A great day was had by students and teachers.
