On Monday Year 2 went on a discovery excursion to the Hunter Wetlands Centre. The students had a wonderful time dip netting in the wetlands and then investigating the live pond animals that were collected, under digital microscopes. After lunch and a fun play on the amazing playground, the students enjoyed observing birdlife and nature through their own set of binoculars while walking through the Shortland Estuary habitat. What a fun day of learning we had!
