Last Thursday, Year 2 joined together in teams to make boats. Firstly, they collaborated in small groups to plan and design, then using their creativity with recycled materials constructed a boat. Students then tested, evaluated and communicated their results to their peers. It was so exciting to see if each one could float for 10 seconds! Creativity was overflowing with ship names, flags, canons, walk the planks, rescue rings, fishing gear, anchors and more!
