The Year 12 Geography class embarked on a field trip to Sydney last week for two days. On the first day, the students explored Barangaroo, a new urban precinct, right next door to Millers Point and near the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. On the second day they took the Ferry from Circular Quay to Taronga Zoo, where they learnt about the features of this enterprise, including both the tourism aspect and their conservation and research efforts. It was a rewarding two days, that allowed the students to experience classwork in the real world.
