The Year 12 students began the new school year with their highly anticipated Crosslands Retreat - an experience designed to foster connection and unity as they embark on their final stage of senior school. Whether pursuing an ATAR or non-ATAR pathway, all students share the challenges and triumphs of this journey, and the retreat provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen their bonds.
Throughout the retreat, students engaged in a variety of activities that encouraged teamwork, reflection, and personal growth. The Chaplains joined the group to work on the upcoming Week of Worship. Everyone took on designated responsibilities and embraced the challenges with enthusiasm.
The warm weather allowed students to fully enjoy outdoor activities, including pool games and kayaking on the river. Evenings were filled with energy and excitement, thanks to engaging activities such as Games Night and Trivia Night, with special appreciation extended to Mr Alt and the dedicated teachers who made them possible. Beyond the fun and camaraderie, the retreat also provided a chance for students to pause, reflect, and find encouragement through shared insights and prayer. It was a memorable experience for all, setting a positive tone for the year ahead.
