The Year 11 Geography students went to the Hunter Wetlands on Tuesday as part of their study on Ecosystems at Risk. They participated in a variety of geographical inquiry methods to investigate the site. These included methods such as dip netting, working out humidity using a hygrometer, working out the turbidity of the water using a turbidity tube, discovering the Ph levels of the water, measuring the depth of the water and collection of species and tallying. Students also walked around the wetlands and discovered ways that the site is managed and the history of the location.
