PROPEL students had a behind-the-scenes look inside the Administration Building last week for the launch of their integrated English Studies and Work Studies project based learning task. The students are working in groups to identify how a new job/role could add value to the school community. Mrs Cooper gave students an organisational overview of the school and shared its history and ethos. Students will interview other students, staff and community members to gather data and pitch their new role to a panel of stakeholders, culminating in a 10 minute multimodal presentation of their findings and final job advertisement. It is still early days in the project, however, the ideas coming from the students are well thought out and creative.
