The Primary Swimming Carnival was held at Morisset Pool this week with over 240 students in attendance, supported by many parents along the pool edge. While students were required to sit in Year Levels instead of House groups it didn't affect their performance in the pool. Over the course of the day there were 10 records broken which is the most for many years.
Congratulations to Macquarie House for once again winning the Carnival with 628 points over 2nd place Hunter with 509 points.
A big thank you to all staff, House Captains and Vice Captains for helping to manage and inspire the students to participate in the carnival. Special thanks to Pr Brock who entertained everyone with enthusiastic announcing. The carnival concluded with the fun relay event, featuring the fastest senior boys and girls relay teams against the parent teams and the reigning champion staff team. The parents team won the event with the introduction of a gun high school student closely followed by the staff team and the Senior Boys relay in 3rd place.
