Years 3-6 have been engaging their minds to think critically during the 2023 Round 1 Online Bebras Challenge this week!Bebras develops and assesses student’s problem solving and computational thinking skills, highly sought after in the digital careers of the future. This is a fun and interactive online activity that engages students in collaborative, creative, and critical thinking. The Bebras international community has now grown to include 60 countries with over 2.9 million students participating worldwide!The Bebras challenge started in 2004 by Professor Valentina Dagiene from the University of Vilnius, 'Bebras' is Lithuanian for beaver. This refers to their collaborative nature and strong work ethic. Bebras Australia began in 2014 and is now administered through CSIRO Digital Careers.
