KidsLitQuiz is an annual literature quiz for students aged 10-13. Schools in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Indonesia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand and the USA all compete and the winners from each National Final go on to compete in the World Final. Avondale School hosted the KidsLitQuiz Newcastle Region Final on Tuesday May 2 and despite strong competition, our top team ranked 3rd in the competition out of a total of 14 teams. Macquarie College won this final. This is a great opportunity for readers to show their knowledge, often answering questions that leave parents and other adults at a loss. Our teams had a great day and represented Avondale School really well. They are very keen to start preparing for next year!
