One of the things I love about this time of year is looking back and seeing the growth in our students. They come so far in a school year, and it’s exciting to see that growth and development. There are so many people that contribute to that growth. Parents, relatives, school staff, church family, community members, not to mention the effort and hard work of the students themselves.
I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “It takes a village to raise a child”. Well, we are your village. We are here to partner with you, to help build the character of your precious children, to believe in them, support them, and love them. Raising well-rounded, balanced, happy and healthy kids, in this day and age, is not an easy task. As our kids become teenagers, they are less inclined to listen to the wisdom and advice of their parents, and the other people in your 'village' become so important. My three children are all young adults now, but as I look back over their teenage years, I am forever grateful for the teachers, church members, aunties, uncles, grandparents, and friends, who shared their wisdom and loved my kids.
When a community of healthy adults support a child, they build a robust social and emotional support system around that child. Schools make up a considerable part of that support system.
We are so glad you are part of our school family, and that you have chosen us to be part of your 'village'. We don’t take that honour lightly. It is what drives us every day, knowing that we are making a difference in the lives of your precious kids.
