This year, our Secondary Chapel theme is Mosaic. A mosaic is made up of different pieces, each unique in shape, colour, and size. When all the pieces are put together, they form a beautiful picture. In the same way, our lives are made up of different experiences, strengths, and people. Even though we are all different, we come together to create something amazing, just as God intended.
As we explore the theme of Mosaic this year, it also encourages us to see the value in both our individual lives and in the community around us. Sometimes, we may feel like a single, small piece in a much bigger picture, but each piece plays an important role. God uses our unique experiences and qualities to contribute to His greater purpose. Every person, with their own story and gifts, adds something valuable to the whole, and together, we create a story that is bigger than any one of us alone. Just like a mosaic is beautiful because of its different pieces, our diversity makes our school community special. We are all part of God’s masterpiece, and we each play an important role in making the bigger picture shine.
The theme for this year's Primary Chapel is Treasure Hunt, and it's all about discovering the real treasures that God wants for us on earth. Just like in a treasure hunt where we search for hidden treasures, we'll be embarking on a journey to find out what God values most and how we can seek these treasures in our own lives.
Each Primary Chapel we'll be learning from stories and parables from the Bible. These stories are like treasure maps that guide us to understand the deeper meaning of God's teachings. We'll be exploring stories about kindness, love, forgiveness, and faithfulness, all of which are treasures that God values deeply. These treasures aren't something we can find in a chest or buy with money, but they are qualities that help us grow closer to God and to others.
As we go through this 'treasure hunt', we will reflect on how we can live with hearts full of gratitude, helping others, and following Jesus’ example. By doing this, we will discover the true treasure that God desires us to seek and share with others—His love, truth, and grace.
